It functions as a webcam when connected to a computer or smartphone. No software installation is required. USB streaming option will pop up when the camera is connected to a computer via a USB Cable. The audio is captured and transmitted by the camera; no separate tabletop microphone is needed. You can stream in FHD 30p/60p or 4K 15p. It also records to a memory card while simultaneously streaming to an external platform.

The new lens also features Optical SteadyShot® for keeping shots crisp and clear at all focal lengths, even at slower shutter speeds. With a wide-to-portrait length zoom range the lens is an asset in any kit, wide enough for capturing landscapes and shooting in city laneways, but also with sufficient zoom to photograph intimate portraits. It’s also dust and moisture sealed for operating in difficult climates. The lens uses one extra-low dispersion element and five aspherical elements to reduce aberrations and also has a Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating to reduce lens flare and ghosting.
